Highest quality US-Made LED gauge lights that are nickel plated with swiss screw machined bodies.  The nickel plated button head domes are threaded with backing half nuts to bolt directly into the existing mounting holes in all of the Metal-tech 4x4 FJ40 instrument or gauge cluster mounting plates.  OR mount them into our own creation of a gauge cluster.    Mimicking the original Toyota colors of green for turn signals and deep blue* for high beam, this kit is the perfect finishing touch to your FJ40 build.  
 
LED light kit is 100% pre-wired and comes with:
  • 1 blue (high beam) (VERY SPECIAL LED, it earned the inventors a Nobel Prize in 2014!) 
  • 2 green (turn signals).

FJ40 Cluster Gauge LED Kit is designed to work with all the Metal-tech 4x4 FJ40 gauge mounting plates (not OEM gauge clusters)  fits the following vehicle(s):

*NOTE:  Why is the BLUE LED so special? 

The common red and green LEDs that were created in mass during the 1950s and 60s around the globe.  However for a true blue, LED, due to the wavelength of the light created by the materials that created the red and green LEDs, blue just was not visible.  it literally took three additional decades to finally produce efficient blue LEDs!  Credit goes to: Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano and Shuji Nakamura.   And credit was given by history.  October 7th 2014, the three named inventors were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs).    All so you can have a real LED that is blue for your high beam indicator in your FJ40 build.
