Metal Tech 4x4 FJ40 Land Cruiser Pre-Built Jackson Roll Cage
The pre-built Jackson Roll Cage is designed to give you that custom fit without the headache of designing and welding the cage from scratch. Our expert welders hand build your cage for you saving your valuable time and ensuring a perfect fit. The Jackson cage is perfect if you have side folding rear seats giving your passengers some added protection with OEM style rear side hoops. For your convenience our roll cages fit the factory hard top and any aftermarket soft top.
Our roll cage steel is made our of 2" x 120 wall DOM SRA tube that is custom made to our specification. While regular DOM tube has an elasticity of 10-12%, ours yield 20-24% elasticity which allows the cage to absorb more impact in the event of a roll over. These cages are properly designed in compliance with SCORE racing standards.
If your FJ40 was built prior to 1975 you will need to drill holes for the front and rear mounting plates. If your FJ40 was built after 1975 then you only need to drill holes for the front mounting plates as the rear mounting plates use the factory OEM roll cage mounting holes.
This roll cage comes as raw steel so it will need to be painted or powder coated to keep it looking nice.
