Metal-tech 4x4 Upper Rear Links with Flex Joints
2001–2007 Toyota Sequoia
The Metal-tech 4x4 Upper Rear Links for the Toyota Sequoia are a heavy-duty, bolt-on upgrade designed to improve strength, articulation, traction, and overall suspension performance on and off the trail.
These links are sold as a left and right pair and are vehicle-specific to the 2001–2007 Toyota Sequoia.
Design & Performance
The factory upper links rely on rubber bushings at both ends, which must twist to allow axle articulation. This bushing wind-up reduces effective shock control and limits suspension performance.
Metal-tech 4x4 Upper Links use a hybrid bushing and flex-joint design:
- A firm polyurethane bushing on one end absorbs vibration and noise
- A full Flex Joint on the opposite end allows up to 30° of free rotation
This design allows axle movement to be controlled by your shock valving, not by twisting rubber bushings—resulting in improved ride quality, smoother articulation, and better traction in real-world conditions.
