200 Series Rock Sliders - by Metal-tech 4x4
Updated design in 2025, to eliminate rivnuts and drilling into the frame for install. This new mounting design is 100% bolt on using existing features in your 2008-2021 frame.
Limited Lifetime Slider Warranty: If you ever bend a Metal-tech 4x4 rock slider, contact us, send it back, and we will fix or replace it. More information available on our warranty page.
Main Body: Built from proven 2" x 4" 3/16" thick steel box tube, we angle each end 45* to eliminate any blunt ends. This allows the slider to engage obstacles better going forward and backwards. (Yes we have to back up on obstacles at times!)
Mounting legs: Each slider features three 2" X 3" 1/4" thick steel box tube mounting legs to the frame. All frame points are cut from 1/4" steel.
Frame Mounts: We have cut each frame mount to use the existing features of your 200 series frame. There is NO drilling and no nut-serts to install. We provide custom cut nut sticks to reach into the frame and provide incredibly strong thread in anchor points.
Rub rail: The outside of the slider has a two-stage rub rail. The aft portion of the rub rail is further outward that the front half. This area of the slider will push the back end of your truck away from the obstacle you are traversing (This helps save your ¼ panel)! Our trademarked and proven rail design simply performs and looks good doing it.
The new Metal-tech 4x4 200 Series sliders truly are “Protection Evolved”.
Features:
Estimated Install Time: 1.5 hours
Powder Coating: We offer this service due to the requests for it. However, we do not provide any warranty for powder coating, from shipping damage to the longevity of the finish. To mitigate shipping damage, we do our best to protect the powder-coated finish, hand-wrapping each part in foam, then brand new high-quality moving blankets and a custom pallet for each shipment. The added cost for the special packaging is all part of the powder coating price offered for this service. But again, no warranty is provided for any powder coating.
Powder Coating continued: We strongly suggest getting bumpers and sliders raw. We can ship directly to your local powder coater of choice, allowing you full control over the quality and final finish. This also makes it easier for LTL delivery as it is to a local business, to you, and does not require you to set up a time to be home to accept the truck freight. Shipping raw eliminates any damage to the finish and allows us to package your order quicker, reflected in the lower cost for a raw item. Lastly and very importantly, if you use a local powder coater, you have easy access to any warranty needs that may come up. If shipped from us pre-powder coated, there is no warranty for anything related to the powder coating. Raw is the best way to go, giving you lower costs and more control.
