The Metal Tech 4x4 License Plate Holder is the simple, rock-solid solution for anyone running a synthetic winch line with a Hawse-style fairlead on their front bumper.  OR no winch on a winch-ready bumper, this mount includes hardware to use without a winch. Designed and manufactured in-house, this bracket bolts directly between your fairlead and the bumper, placing your license plate up, protected, and centered—right where it should be.

When it’s time to winch, our tool-less flip-up design swings the plate up and out of the way instantly. No springs, no gimmicks, no fragile hardware to break on the trail. Just a clean mechanical flip-up motion that works every time.

For rigs without a winch (yet), this kit even includes hardware to mount the bracket directly to your bumper—keeping your plate protected and ready for a future winch install.

Our design uses a low-profile hinge geometry with no exposed moving parts—meaning nothing to gum up, rust out, or wear down. On-road and off-road, it stays put until you intentionally move it.
